The payroll Federal and Provincial tax reports are incorrect. The system is not correctly picking up all the taxable income for all employees. Depending on how the reports are ran, sometimes not all the employees are included in the reports, and other times, not all the taxable income is being included in the reports. These types of discrepancies may cause CRA to perform payroll audits if the amounts reports are consistently wrong.

  • The Fringe Paid In Cash rate in column 6 is not picking up the fringe offset amount causing the rate to be incorrect. This, too, creates reporting issues that lead to audits. As a legally mandated government form it is imperative that Sage make these correct.
