When connecting to an office computer through Remote Desktop Services (RDS) our employees cannot see the Sage windows that were opened on the second monitor on the computer at the office. RDS does not allow for dual monitor viewing so the open Sage window does not show up and appears where a second monitor would be shown physically. This makes it impossible to view or used any window opened on the second monitor. For example if the 4-2 payable invoice was open on the main monitor and the drill down (F5) was on the second monitor the drill down window will not show up on the RDS. This is essential for our IT department as well as our accounting department to use RDS. Would you please change Sage to move the screens to the Main screen when there isn't a second monitor available or when connected to Remote Desktop Services?

  • It is possible to do this if Microsoft remote desktop is properly setup. You must have a version of Microsoft Windows running that supports this- and that is probably your problem. Have been viewing dual monitors remotely for about three years with no issues.
