In 12-2, "Save/Autocost" is only available when you create the record and Save/Autocost is available and can be used without error on all statuses, yet only jobcosts if "shipped" is selected. Regardless of whether Save or Save/Autocost is used, when you recall the record to change the status to "Shipped", Save/Autocost is not available. In fact, Save/Autocost is never available once the record is created. The purpose of being able to change the status is defeated by not being able to autocost it. The end user is typically a low-tech employee in the "yard" of a construction company and they cannot be expected to manually job cost each allocation, especially when the the function exists but is disabled after the record is created, whether its been previously costed or not.
