Currently you can only require one or the other or both (which I don't think you'd ever use). We want to make sure our purchasers don't skip both fields, which they do if one is not required, so we require an entry in the Job field, since that is most used. Yet not all PO's are for jobs, some are for equipment or shop purchases, so Accounting always has to make journal entries to take such purchases out of the fake job that was set up for them and post to the equipment number. It would be so much simpler (and save so much time!) if they could be set up as an either/or combination where you have to enter either a job number or an equipment number but could not leave both fields blank.
