Currently retainage is included in the Current/Retainage Column on their respective reports. CPA needs the breakdown.
Best case scenario would be to have retainages have their own accounts in GL.

You can easily design a report in Report Writer that separates columns,
current, 30, 60, 90, Retainage, then total.
My only complaint about this report(even after speaking with Sage support) is that the report will page break in the middle of a job in the AP report.
Exporting to Excel to adjust it is cumbersome.
I don't believe Sage is designed for a contractor that needs Aged AP report by Job then vendor. My way is a work around but it should be available without designing in report writer.
You don't have to design anything, just run the landscape version, it already contains a column for retention
In the AR, report 3-1-3-26 (land version) shows retention column.
Hopefully if there is a change to how retainage is tracked and reported on, it could also fix the retainage release bugs mentioned here:
