Please refer to report "Job Status Report"6-1-1-31. "Total Costs Column" includes all costs included to date without the option to limit the cost up to a certain period. This option is now necessary since multiple "Fiscal" years are now opened at the same time. Prior versions operating structures of "archive companies" made unnecessary this cut off option. For example, our "fiscal year" ended 9/30. Report 6-1-1-31 printed today 10/29/14 for period 12 (09/2014) shows the correct "Period costs" for September 2014; however "Total Costs Column" includes all costs posted during October 2014. For financial purposes this cut off feature is a "MUST HAVE" in order to tie the amounts to the financial statements. This report 6-1-1-31 is the ONLY report that handles on a "Cost Code", "Cost type" basis the following: a) budget b) Cost to date c) Projected costs d) Projected Total Job Cost e)Projected Total gross profit. This information is essential for financial reporting.

  • I totally agree with this as I am trying to find a report that I can use for Work in Progress. Another thing is why does it not show "invoiced" as it does in 6-1-1-21 (when tick off "detailed")having this on the report would make it perfect. For Financial purposes one report that shows both the "invoiced" and "costs" posted for the period end.

  • The YTD costs on a report should not include costs after the most recent period selected when printing the report.
