The Client Name Field is too short (30 characters) to hold many of our client names. Make this field longer (75 characters minimum) to have room for growth and to be able to handle longer names, especially hyphenated last names.

I have to agree. I am a new customer and I am having trouble entering short names I can use. I have several vendors with similar names and I can't identify them easily with the constraints of that field. If anyone feels the same way please comment and help us get this fixed
I have to agree. I am a new customer and I cant even enter some of my vendors in a manner to be able to identify them on the short list because the field its too limited. I have too many vendors with similar names. Anyone else agree please speak up and help us get this fixed
I agree...so many fields need lengthened. Especially when entering the description in the grid of a 4-2 or 3-2. Same thing with Job Name and Short Name in 3-5!
Agreed! I have so many clients that request their full legal name on the invoices and with the limited amount of characters allowable in the name field, I am forced to use the address field. VERY annoying! Seems like it would be such an easy fix!
PLEASE INCREASE the character field in both job and short name windows. We do several school system projects with long names that have to be used as such for projects of that type which cannot be entered properly due to the short character limit. Also, please allow for duplicate usage of Short Names which also would allow users to use this as a partial project description that could also be plugged into a search data base portion of the program.
I also see that others have been asking for this for over a year and still it is not implemented. Seems to be way to easy to lengthen the character lines of the fields. WHAT'S THE HOLD-UP???
I have clients that request their complete name on their invoices. Without having enough characters, I am required to create the invoices and then manually adjust them, every time. They refuse payment if their full name isn't properly listed.
Not only is the client name too short, but it would also be helpful if other fields such as client PO, project address and client address lines were longer. The only real limitation is where the fields are placed on the invoice formatting.
