I am trying to allow my assistant to enter the employee profile to update some information for me but not give her access to sensitive payroll information such as earnings, salary etc. I am able to go into each cell and restrict access except for the Payroll tab and Earnings tab. She can still access that and see salary information which defeats that purpose of restricting the other cells. Is there an option to restrict access to earnings and payroll tab that I am not aware of? If not, this should be updated. Thanks.

  • There should be a stand alone module for HR only - which a person could see hours worked, vacation hours , all other information and no payroll compensation or wages!!!!! this is why many of us use payroll services - which is redundant to Sage.....

  • Same problem, assistant needs to update licenses and training and enter employee hours, but this also gives her access to earning and payroll information. Not good, now I have to enter all employees hours myself and maintain licenses and training. More work for me.
