We would like to update our cost codes to conform with the new CSI Cost Codes that were implemented in 2012. If we want to match the cost codes in a spec book when creating a take-off, we can't, Sage Contractor 100 does not allow you to place a zero before a number (i.e. New CSI code is 012100-Job Conditions Allowance but when I enter the number, it reverts to 12100 which makes it appear like it's a Division 12 cost code). The Divisions in Sage are also outdated and not in compliance with the new CSI Divisions, so the system WILL let me enter 210000 for Fire Suppression, but I have to use Division 15 - there is no Division 21. PLEASE UPDATE!!

Comments

  • I was able to add the new CSI divisions after referencing the help menu in that module and following the steps to add new divisions. Still having issues with the preceeding zero though....

  • I would also like to be able to change the formatting on the cost codes. We need the ability to have two decimal places in the cost code for a code such as 20.100.25 or 20.202.01

  • We need the preceding 0 also and a space between, i.e.; 01 16 10

  • There is need to update the system to accept latest CSI codes

  • Please format the cost code field to accept the latest CSI codes using 48 divisions. Give us flexibility in our own reporting please.

  • We need the software coding to at least meet industry standard. I see most of the comments were placed more than a year ago.
