I think that the Supervisor should be able to log-off users from the License Administration program. It is a PITA when you need folks off for update or rebuild and you can see who's on but have to chase around to get them off!

Totally agree!
For v20 - this function needs to be allowed from any workstation where the user has administrative rights & not just from the SQL Database Admin program.
I agree. We have several people who log in remotely and I can never change the accounting period because they are rarely next to their computer. No matter how often I send reminders, I can't get the entire office to log off. It becomes an inconvenience for things like inventory and PO receiving as you do not choose the accounting period, Sage automatically select the current period which requires a large number of adjustments at the end of the month.
I agree! We run into the exact same situation every time.
Please make this feature. It would be very useful for us.
I agree! Chasing absent or remote users to log off is time consuming. Ability to send a message out from an admin log in or at least the License Admin window to request a log off or force if need be.
I agree. While I am fortunate to have access to our server most people don't and shouldn't. Having to go to the server to kick people out or go desk to desk is inefficient. Of course we shouldn't kick people off unknowingly but when we are working updates AFTER HOURS it should be possible and quick.
Please implement this. Having to physically go to other workstations to log people off should not be required in this day and age.
INDEED! This is such a pain because although the database admin tool does allow you to disconnect users, it requires you to disconnect ALL USERS, which isn't very practical. We're using the managed server version, so we're able to cherry pick and disconnect individual users via Windows task manager, but that's not the point. Sage needs to enable the admin user to disconnect individual users via the DB admin interface.
YESSSS!!! I have to walk to every workstation every time I need to update and as a result I only update once or twice a year unless there is something critical.
