The cityof Youngstown, Ohio is in the process of using the online web-based program called LCPtracker to collect, verify, and manage prevailing wage certified payrolls and labor comploance documentation. LCPtracker is a tool used by the Government Agencies and contractors to ensure compliance with the prevailing wage requirements. They will no longer accept the certifed payroll reports that we generate on paper. What was stressed in the training seminar, that I attended is that no payment will be made to the Prime Contractor (us) if do do use this system and we must make sure that all of our subs use it also. Non-use will result in non-payment. However, LCPtracker will create an interface with Sage (at no expense to us) in conjunction with Sage, so that I do not have to physically key in the payroll information weekly.
