I would like the system to be able to have a feature that allows a date to be entered as to when new rates and benefits go into effect. When you forget to print the reports prior to entering rate and benefits changes there is only one way to make that report correct is to go back and change the rates and benefits in the system to the old numbers. That is not an effective use of time. The system needs a feature allowing you to tell the system when the rates and benefits become effective. Then you can print reports based on date and should show correct information for each report.

  • Absolutely agree!

  • Hi ladies.
I understand how this can be frustrating, but I have a simple work-a-around.
Before you udpate the rates for the new policy, make a copy of your data and rename it "through xx-xx-xx" the date of the end of the prior policy. This way you can run reports for the auditors easily. I have been doing this for years.

  • It is very frustrating that Sage reporting is really complicated and I please do something about this issue. Union Rate and Benefits changes are very complicated if you have more than one union and many levels in the union group.
