Move Income Account/Sub-Account to be a Line Item as it is in 3-2 Invoices.
This allows different departments (Income Account/Sub-Account) to be entered on the same progress billing. This would also streamline training as the Invoice entry would be similar.

Yes, this is the most frustrating part of Sage 100 Contractor for our company. Most of our jobs includes income accounts from several departments. And we would like to be able to tracks the profit correctly.
There is no problem on the Cost side because we input the corresponding cost codes in the Progress Billing line item. But currently there is only one income account per progress billing.
The thing that puzzles us is in 6-5 Cost Codes, we already indicated the corresponding department for each cost codes there. It should at least give us the options to default the income account of the cost codes in progress billing to what we specified in the department column on the cost code table.
As of now, we can't generate an accurate Department Income Statement and Income Summary with Subaccount which is very disappointing since we expected Sage100 to be able to provide this report when we bought it.
We have 3 main revenue accounts that we frequently bill on the same invoice. We would like to use progress billing to accurately track our billing but are unable to due not having the ability to charge more than one revenue account.
We have the same issue as Michele mentioned. we have 8 income accounts that the revenue from progressive billing should be distributed based on our estimates. This becomes a major issue when we need to report for state tax purposes and get audited. more simply, the income account that is setup in progressive billing, carries all the revenue whether taxable or non-taxable. For instance, equipment revenue goes to the same income account as labor revenue does. The income accounts could be assigned to cost codes in progressive billing.
8/9/21-We have the same issue, different income statements based on a sales account sub-account. I know it can be done as it is available on the AR Invoice sub-form. I do not see why this feature would be so difficult to add as it already exists within a similar portion of the same module. Please add to future versions.
I suggest that this field be automatically populated from the job screen 3-5, as it is a field that we populate when setting the job up. Allow it to be changed if needed, but make the default entry flow from 3-5.
