When modifying a report, if the formula is entered incorrectly, a message pops up to indicate. That's great. Problem: you're not allowed to open the form/report to edit the erroneous formula. Not only that, the only way to resolve the problem is to DELETE the report/form and start completely over! A person needs to have opportunity to reopen the file, make the changes to correct the error, resave and move on. NOT START COMPLETELY OVER.
