To save time updating 7 years worth of data (IRS Requirement) held in many archive companies it should be possible to keep an older version of the software to run the older non-updated archive companies.

We have 4 companies each with Payroll and Accounting archive. That is 56 companies to re-configure when updating versions.

Or selecting a few companies to update at the same time would help.

Also, the error thrown while updating due to fire wall or antiviral software (70,90621) makes this process even worse. The frequently unavailable, IT consultant must be engaged also.
