There are so many system reports where the detail is sorted by record number instead of date. We all know transactions don't happen in the exact order they should so having any report default to record number is useless. I know we can create our own custom reports to re-sort, by why should I have to?

The record number is just an ordered number that doesn't seem to mean much to anyone except Sage. I agree with you.
I agree, sorting by date is the method that should be used for all reports!
