Please remove pay rate information from the timecard entry screen. Timecard entry could/should be an admin level task but because it shows confidential information about an employee (pay rate) I have to have my controller, a high level employee who is allowed to see that information, do the data entry. This costs me quite a bit of money over time.

Huge issue in our company as we have over 80 employees. We would like to decentralize time entry but can't due to the sensitive nature of pay rate info.
Hello ladies
If you need admin level entries, please review the daily payroll at 5-5-1, and the Daily Field Reports at menu 6-11-6 (my preferred). All your original timecard entry can be at their of these locations without confidential pay rate info. Then those entries are imported into the 5-2-2 menu and processed by someone with higher security clearance.
About Autofill Pay Rate
If you use security to hide the Pay Rate column in 5-2-2 Payroll Records, you can turn on Autofill Pay Rate to fill in the default Pay Rate automatically for users that do not have access to pay rate information.
Only a user logged in as Administrator can turn this option on and off.
Security must be defined for the Pay Rate column for user(s) that can and cannot access it. For users who cannot view Pay Rate information, the Autofill Pay Rate is automatically filled in when the user finishes entering a timecard.
To turn on Autofill Pay Rate:
Open 5-2-2 Payroll Records.
Click Options.
Click Autofill Pay Rate.
