In 9-3 - unlike every other master table - the two standard USDF 1 and USDF2 user defined fields do not exist.
Business need - if an assembly is created for a specific client - like the Alpha Number on the part entry table - the client (actual Sage client n the software) could have their own "Part Number" to describe the assembly. This would be very useful in looking up and identify assemblies when searching by the client's number.

Because the two USDF fields are in almost every other table, the expectation is they would be available for assemblies also.
