DCAA (Defense Contractors Auditing & Accounting) requires that employee time entries not be able to be changed, but a correct revision may be entered if a reason is entered. Also employees must sign all revisions and timesheets, even if a supervisor first entered them. This was stated as being included when explained to sales. This application needs to be acceptable to a DCAA auditor, and this is currently not acceptable. Also the workaround suggested of scanning, attaching a change note, etc is not expected to be acceptable. The configuration needed otherwise appears able to meet www.DCAA.mil, which is becoming widely adopted by the Federal Government and also some states.
