Sage 100 Contractor: I would like a way to "mark" a customer account to show if they are a slow paying customer. So our salesmen can recognize it in the beginning and know to ask for special terms.

Possibly just by changing text color to differentiate from other customers.

Put a symbol at the end of the customer name.
This could be used for exceptionally good customers also.
Example John Smith* * slow pay
John Smith+ + Excelent
