In Sage 100 CONTRACTOR estimating module when a job has an alternate or alternates, the alternate pricing should NOT be included in the Base Bid amount. This makes it time consuming and difficult to work in the estimate. It then causes the profit and overhead and bond amount to increase as well. The alternate prices should be kept entirely separate within the estimate and not compute into the Base Bid amount.
