Right now if something were to happen with server between the hours of work like 5 PM and 9 pm you would loose that whole day of information, and if that day happened to be on payroll day that's a lot of making up to do. Because the only good auto backup would be from 9 pm to 5:am that previous day.
Backups should be able to be preformed anytime of the regardless if anyone is connected and they should be useable. Sage Techs told us that the forced backups done while others are connected have a high chance of not being usable. Our office is open 12 hours a day and others have the capability to work form outside the office hours. So shutting down everyone really isn't an option and with all the technology we should be able to do a backup anytime. Having a backup that is taken off site at the end of the day is still prudent.
