you cannot apply a flat rate markup to a line item in takeoffs. Further, you are limited on how close you can get to the final number you would like to achieve by only being able to adjust the markup percentage by hundreths. If I want to mark up a $2,700 item by $400, the closest I can get is $399.87 by entering a 14.81% markup.
