Sage menu 6-6-1 Purchase Orders.
Please provide a data field: (Quantity - ToDate - Current - Canceled ) x (Unit Price) = "Remaining $" for each line (row).
Not necessary to show this amount on screen. It is for REPORT WRITING.
This will provide the ability to provide a committed remaining cost $ amount which can be added and totaled.
Currently CAN get the remaining quantity, but the unit prices always add up.
With a remaining $ amount field for each row, the amounts will add, giving the needed remaining committed cost.
This will open doors in report writing for many reporting opportunities. Thanks, Jim Schuett
