Is it possible to have a different number for an estimate/bid from the "current" job number? We are having huge issues with jobs moving from "bid" status to "current" status not showing up on our spreadsheets because the numbers are not in sequence and they show up in the middle of everything when moving into the "current" status. We spend about an hour weekly scrutinizing the "current" job list to see what new job numbers have squeezed into the sequence.
Can't there be a way that when a job moves from "bid" to "current" the job number would change somehow?

Yes, we put every bid into the system and so the "job list" gets inundated with jobs and bids. Its hard to find jobs we actually got vs our bids.
