In 5-3-4 Paygroups: If you want to delete a record that has Benefits, the record will display as linked to itself. Currently, you must delete all associated Benefits for the paygroup before deleting the paygroup.
It would save us tons of time if we were just prompted with "Do you want to delete all associated Benefits?" when deleting a paygroup.

It turns out that deleting the unused paygroup records directly in the database also removes the linked benefits records.
It would still be nice for users to be able to delete unused paygroups and their benefits at the same time, safely, from within the program.
Why don't you just inactivate them?
