There needs to be an option for vacation hours to reset on a certain date each year. For example, the employee's anniversary date or the January 1st for those that use the calendar year. This should be within the employee's compensation tab and the option to enter any date. If set up when the employee is hired, it will automatically generate the predetermined amount of hours available once that date comes.

My company accrues vacation at a rate and maximum, but uses the anniversary date of the employee as the "year" used to calculate the annual max. For example, if an employee is hired mid-year and accrues his 40 hours by April of the following year, his accrual needs to stop until he crosses his anniversary date in the new year. At this time, your system does not do this.
I have been switching over from QB to sage and have been very frustrated with the lack of basic functions that sage does not have such as resetting vacation. It should be an absolute function to have specific date option with a reset. It also lacks a report to track vacation that is manually entered into the "vacation available" slot. I was told that if you choose to manually enter it in, that there would be no way to track it. these seem like very simple things.
Yes, anniversary date, please.
