I came across other Idea submissions reporting this same issue but the Ideas are marked as 'completed.' This issue is NOT corrected. After following all steps in KB ID 38051, it will still show to the total for "deducts, net pay and total cost" in the 5-2-2 calculations tab. Also, you can hide rate and salary, but you can still see "earnings & payroll" tab in the 5-2-1 window. This is KB article does not at all address the issue. Please open F7 capability in the required wages fields.

I have called into Sage multiple times, spoke with various support members. I am told this has been a known issue for years. I have requested for the KB article to be updated to warn users that these steps do not completely secure payroll data.

Not having this data completely secure is very cumbersome and limits the staff available to assist with many tasks that can be done during the weekly payroll process and EE setup.
