When logging into Sage 20, Sage goes through all of the archived files to make sure the user has access to those also. I don't need this. It now takes 2 minutes every time I log on to log in. I access the archived files about twice a year. I don't need Sage to verify my user name in all of the archived files every time I log in. We have so many archived files and it takes WAY TOO long to log on this way. Very Annoying.

  • I was told by Sage tech support that you can create a second SQL instance called "Sage100Con Archives" and then use the DB admin "System Features" to move the archives to that new instance that you don't want in the main location. Then you would have to chose the archive instance to view the archives.
