Bonding Report should be based off of how much we've billed to date instead of the budget amount. I don't need to know if we are over or under-billed. I need to know if we are over or under budget. If the Costs to Date exceed the Current Budget, don't change the budget amount to the Costs amt. I want to know if we are over-budget. The SAGE Bonding Report would only be useful if every job is exactly on budget 100%, which never happens. I have an excel spreadsheet that I have to manually enter my Bonding Report into, because the SAGE one is nearly useless, as is. Sage- If you want my spreadsheet that displays how I think the bonding report should be, please email me. I REALLY need this report in SAGE. It takes me about 4 hours every time I need to update the Bonding Report for our CPA. Maybe keep your Bonding Report that tells people if they are over or under billed, but then please, please, please make another one that tells a person if they are over or under budget and base the progress of the project off of how much of the contract we have billed for. If we say we're 75% done with a job, believe us, instead of telling us we're over-billed. If we've billed out 75% of the job, I want to know how we're doing if we're looking at 75% of the Budget in comparison to the Costs to Date. I know you have the Costs to Complete Report too, but I need a Bonding Report that includes many of the feature of the Cost to Complete Report. When I work up my manually entered Bonding Report, I use Sage's Bonding Report and the Cost to Complete Report and several other reports to gather up the data I actually need. It is so time-consuming recreating the Bonding Report. Please help me with this one. I've been recreating my own Bonding Report for 4 years now and it is such a headache.
