Adding new vendors......when entering the short name for a vendor with multiple addresses, it gives a warning that the short name is a duplicate.....for example, the Internal Revenue Service has multiple addresses....it should be allowed to be duplicated if prompted. Or simply just don't make the Short Name mandatory.
