Employee vacation accrues in Canada as a % (percentage) of the employees payroll rather than hours. The employee can elect (if offered by the employer) to have the vacation earned that pay period paid out on the employees paycheck or the $$ (dollars) are accrued and applied against vacation taken. In either case, the accrual method is by dollars, not hours. It would be nice to have the vacation accrual method (for Canada) have an additional choice of 'By Percentage' and then the accrued vacation field would accrue dollars as compared to hours. Vacation taken on the timecard lines would have to reduce the accrued dollars then rather than the hours when the 'By Percentage' option is selected.
