Phase number digits are not limited in the 3-5 Phases screen, so for many years we have used 10+ digits for inter-company cross references to Jobs/Phases (e.g. 2190001-001 as a Job and Phase in Company A. In company B, we use a separate job number, but use the 2190001-001 as the "Phase" to cross reference between the two companies. Suddenly, all ancillary SAGE products (Paperless) will not allow the use of these longer phase numbers. The instructions provided by support are useless, requiring that the phase digits be reduced to 9 or less, or the first digit of the phase must be changed to a "1" - this instruction completely undermines the accounting and tracking of invoices, expenses, and all other transactions which have been processed using the 2190001-001 sequencing.
