In Job Costs 6-3 you can easily change the cost code on the record but not the job. Occasionally labor or other job costs get posted to the wrong jobs. It would be much easier to change it in 6-3 rather than voiding at the source, especially a payroll record.

YES Please fix this. It is such a pain to have to void out the entire payroll record to change cost from one job to another!! You should be able to edit this if need be.
Agreed!
What we do is find the cost record in 6-3, then do Edit>Copy, New, Edit>paste, and make the hours, cost, and gross numbers of the record negative (this counteracts fhe original cost record). Then paste the record a second time, but on this record leave everything positive and choose the correct job/phase/work order (this “moves” the cost to the job you want). Goes pretty fast once you get good at it. I usually run a report that shows all costs I want to change, then just double click into each one and do the copy/paste procedure, then run the report again for both jobs to ensure it’s correct.
