We are a contractor that needs to separate out taxable vs non-taxable items for reporting purposes. Currently tax is included in the total for the materials when brought over from the takeoff and the contract value is determined by the "revenue + the tax". I need the option of having proposals and change orders that show the "revenue" and "tax" separately. I also need change orders to only increase my contract by the "revenue" and not the tax.
