I have experienced this in a number of different menus, but when exporting records, many times the rows are reorganized alphabetically or by part number when used. I spoke to a programmer on this and he said this is by design and the way it should be. Items entered into a takeoff are always organized by the creator in a certain logical manner, sometimes with headings to give better description or by room or otherwise. Why in the world would we want the rows to be completely reorganized when exporting to a different area? For example, export a takeoff on 9-5 to a request for proposal 6-11-1 and see how the rows are transposed alphabetically and all mixed up. Ridiculous!!! Please vote for this so we can get it fixed.
