The Fringe Paid In Cash portion of the Rate of Pay is only listing the max. fringe rate, not deducting for any fringe offset amount in the payroll record, causing the rate to be overstated. This error also occurs on the 5-1-11 Certified Payroll Form, Form WH-347, rendering the form incorrect and, therefore, useless. As a legally mandated government form it is imperative that Sage make this correction, for if companies trust the rendered form without understanding or verifying, it increases their likelihood of audit and penalties.

  • False, if you are using the offset it is because you are providing other benefits directly by the company and therefore do not have to pay for them again through PW cash benefits. The report is CORRECT. You are paying them the full amount just not in cash. If you are using the offset for some other purpose, then you should address it another way

  • Besides that, 5-1-7-31 are union forms NOT certified payroll forms. You need to run 5-1-6 or 5-1-11
