Add a field that would allow a cost to be billed against the change order/cost code. This would add the capability to create a job cost vs billing report and view the cost of the change orders individually. We previously used American Contractor and we would print a job cost and billing detail each month to prepare the AIA billing. You could easily see on a line item basis your cost to date and your previously billed. The new bill is the difference. If f you are billing on a cost plus billing you could easily prepare a very complicated pay application in minute. SAGE HAS NO WAY TO TRACK THE COST OF CHANGE ORDERS BECAUSE IT LUMPS IT IN TO THE ORIGINAL BUDGET.
