Sage 100 Contractor: 5-2-2 Option to sort employees by last name, first name and automatically move to next employee when entering payroll records. This would help to verify no employees are missed during payroll entry.

When employees are added the employee number is automatically assigned. It would be helpful if entry could be incremented alphabetically by last name, first name rather than by employee number, which is just a random order. Having to use a lookup increases data entry time.

It also would be helpful if it could be filtered by "active" employees to increment only those employees alphabetically.

It's such a pain to look up employees. Please add allow alphanumeric ID numbers for employees, vendors, etc.
