We provide lump sum Proposals to our clients despite using a breakdown for our estimated costs. Our Proposals have lengthy descriptions of the work we will complete by each cost code. Could you make an option for standard descriptions that auto fill for cost codes but then can be edited as needed? This could be used in the takeoff and then brought over to the Proposal.

  • I agree, especially when doing residential proposals, more detail is required. The descriptions are in the databases. Why won't they import?
