It would be nice to have a report of all parts that have been placed on Service Work Orders that have not yet posted. This report would tie with the QOH for inventory purposes. An example of how this would calculate would be:

QOH - Committed Inventory = Net quantity available for sale.

This would provide a much more accurate picture of the inventory available to sell, or alert the company when committed inventory values exceed current QOH, prompting the company to purchase more inventory to cover the committed inventory.
