Have the Service Entry module in 11-2 put inventory parts on hold when the status is Work Order. That way you could track all parts on hold in 12-1-2 Quantity on Hand and not just have the 12-2 Inventory Allocation be able to put items on hold so you can see what is really available thru out inventory. Related to this would be since you can do line by line entry of inventory parts in 11-2 Service Entry, it would be nice when you post the work order that it wouldn't lump all inventory parts into 1 line total but give you the detail.

Currently, the only way to put Service entry work order parts on hold is to enter into 12-2 Inventory Allocation (which is double entry work), and then you have to void the 12-2 Inventory Allocation before you can post the work order in 11-2 Service Entry Work Order.
