I need to be able to pick if a non-employee compensation vendor prints on a 1099-NEC or 1099-MISC. We had to pay a non-taxed settlement to an ex-employee that per the CPA, needs to be printed on a MISC, but it will only print on a NEC. He's not undetermined, rent, attorney or NO 1099, so I'm stuck with the only option, that in this scenario is incorrect. Thank you.

  • I really hope they will start to prioritize State and Federal Compliance. If your software program can't stay in compliance it isn't much good.
