The system reports are great but there always seems to be something else I want in them. I would like the ability to copy a system report, save as a new number and be able to customize it. Sage has a great basis of reports but being able to customize them would be amazing instead of having to build a new report from scratch - too time consuming especially because the report writing tool is not "what you see is what you get"

  • Especially Job Cost Reports!!! There are several that can't be copied and changed or added to.

  • It is sad, when a report like the AR aging or the AP aging cannot be modified, they suck off the bat, The current aging should list the vendor and or customer name, whoever created these reports doe not know accounting and/or mgmt reporting. Also, why not allow editing of the Financial statement reports, i.e balance sheet, income statement, trial balance, since you have to save as a copy anyway ?

    Many of the standard reports are just different versions of the same report, but missing pertinent information actually needed on the report.

    Maybe have an actual user of financial report help design the reports if you cannot change them.
