There should be another place where the original contract amount and the PO's that have been approved show up on the 3-5 screen without having to go into the change order button on the bottom.

Yes, that would be great. There is Beginning and Current Balance on the bottom. Why not add some other basic fields (changes, new contract, etc.) to the main window? Perhaps entire Contract Summary should be on the same window. There are just few fields.
Improvement is needed - I agree. The original Contract amount on the 3-5 can be very inaccurate depending upon how large or long a project runs. the extra "click" needed to obtain actual current contract value is one step too many. A suggestion would be to replace the contract field with "CURRENT CONTRACT VALUE", and in the contract summary pop-up window, the "original" contract value could be present along with the other detailed info.
