There either needs to be a way to correct an incorrect tax state that was entered and noticed after a trial compute (as it does not hit the employee record till it is posted), or allow the deletion of a payroll calculation after a trial compute in case something was entered incorrectly.

  • I have never known messing with calculations to be a problem after a trial compute - only after a final compute. You can certainly either override the value to $0 after a trial compute, or disable the calculation in the employee record and re-trial-compute and it will get rid of it from the payroll record. I can't attest to the payroll state issue, but I would imagine that it would work the same way?
