We need the option to create a change order for a subcontract that does not attach to a change order to the prime contract. There are often changes that are requested/approved that are not passed on to a prime change order or associated with a prime change order. We are a specialty subcontractor and it is difficult at times to accomplish change orders to our subs in the correct order that have not been approved by the GC or may not be requested of the GC. The record # of the prime change order/request combines sub change orders when trying to document the progression of change orders.

This is a huge hang up for us, a GC, as well. We have COs out of order when submitting to clients. It forces us to use an excel tracker like we did previously before having Sage 100 Con. It would be very helpful for this to be addressed.
