When creating timecards from daily payroll I would like the time summarized by job, reg/OT, cost code so instead of creating daily job cost records when payroll is computed, the job cost records are summary subtotals by job, cost code, reg/ot for the week. I see this as checkbox or instruction on the create timecards screen that allows the user to keep the daily detail or choose to export to payroll records in weekly subtotals

  • Daily time capture is great when reviewing employee time for the week and to replace paper time cards but I find it creates too many job cost records - 5+ per week rather than 1 or 2 per week.
