With the advancement of technology ARM based chips are becoming more popular and common in laptop computers due to their increased energy ratings. Many manufacturers are choosing them over other chipsets.

Sage 100 currently does not have normal function on ARM based computers, several features including the PDF print drivers and others do not work on ARM computers.

Due to computer technology changing rapidly Sage should program the software to be functional across chipsets and ensure ARM compatibility so functionality is not lost on new devices.
