I copied the words above from a previous post because it was closed and I want people to reference it. It says the ability to add pay types to payroll was delivered in version #25.2. Well I have version 25.3 and I cannot change a PAYROLL pay type. I mean, I CAN change it, but then the system doesn't recognize it as payroll anymore. If I change it from anything other than labor, it doesn't calcuate the billing based on hours and it doesn't show up on labor reports. I need a 2nd labor cost type so that I can assign a different markup/profit to them.
